A fire caused minor damage to a kitchen at a house on Temple Lane Monday morning. According to Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Dept. chief David Myers, firefighters contained the fire to the kitchen. No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported. In addition to Co. 2, companies 1, 8, 9, 16 and 11 responded.
